NCHS's Random Acts of Kindness Week is Oct. 16th through 20th

Wednesday is do something nice for a teacher, administrator, bus driver, or any staff member.

Thursday is give a gift day.  This could be something as small as a piece of gum or candy.

Friday is say “Thank you” & do something kind for someone in the community (after school)

On Oct. 5th, the Lady Trojans played against the Lady Tigers of Yorktown for the HHC conf. championship. The Lady Trojans came out on top with a 3-1win over the Tigers. This was also a special evening as both teams joined forces to honor area cancer survivors in Henry County and surrounding areas for the annual Lady Trojans “Cure for Cancer” event.

National speaker, Katie Greer, spoke on the subject of Social Media to HS students at an afternoon convo on Thurs., August 24 in BundyShe shared with parents/guardians in Bundy, same day at 6:30 p.m. Topics: Facebook, sexting, cyberbullying, Twitter, porn, gaming, etcShe's appeared on CNN, USA Today, Huff Post, FOXMeredith Vieira, etc.

 This assembly was made possible through a Lilly counseling planning grant received in early-2017.


 Plans for our graduating seniors, Class of 2017

105 going to a 4-year college; 59 to a 2-year college.

7 to military; 24 have jobs lined up after graduation.

23 shared they have no definite plans presently.

  2. On 11/17/16, we received our A-F grade for the 2015-16 school year; NCHS earned an 88.8% or a grade equivalent of "B+" (up over last year). Our Eng. 10 & Alg. I passing %'s were each 14% over IN ave. passing %'s. Congrats students & teachers!
  3. PowerSchool parent  logon has changed to single sign-on method. You will still use the Parent/student info link at the upper left. You will need to follow the directions at this link to create your new account  (This will open up in a new window). Everyone who hasn't already must create a new account. You will be able to use one log-on for your multiple students.


Students' Dance-a-thon 4 Riley Hospital 4 Kids raises @ $9,000 on April 14th.
