New Castle Community Schools

There are over 3900 students attending school in the New Castle Community School Corporation.  Our students receive instruction in six elementary schools, New Castle Middle School, New Castle Chrysler High School, New Castle Area Career Programs, Kids' Corner Pre-School and our alternative school.

Our elementary and secondary school curriculums are aligned with the Indiana Proficiency Standards and our instructional staff regularly takes part in professional development activities to help stay current with the "best practices" of educational instruction.

Our schools offer a wide variety of academic programs and courses to suit the individual tastes and educational needs of our students.  Additionally, the New Castle Community School Corporation strongly supports the belief that our students should be given the opportunity to participate in extra curricular activities.  To accomplish this goal, our schools  support numerous academic clubs and sports programs that match the interests of our students.
